John Dennis Bruffy, 71, residing in Denver, Colo., passed away Feb. 28, 2016, at home after a short illness. Born Aug. 6, 1944, in Charleston, WV to John Dennis Bruffy Sr. and Margaret Sue (Keene) Bruffy, he is survived by his wife, Judith, son, Robert and wife, Cheri; sister, Virginia Olsen; as well as nieces and nephews

John attended Greenbrier Military School and Winfield H.S., graduating in 1962 before joining the Air Force and serving in Vietnam. John's two main earthly passions were piloting small planes and building and repairing organs, having built his own, complete pipe organ in the 1970's. John Bruffy was a caring and loving husband, father and friend. He will be greatly missed.
