My name is Nicolas Amaro and I am the "kid" brother of Hector
Amaro, a proud cadet of GMS. He recently attended your last
reunion as he did on a regular basis in the past. He would always
look forward to those reunions.

This is to inform you that my beloved brother Hector passed away
on November 25th, 2013 apparently of a heart attack. He turned 80
years old last August.

He was never sick on his life, and only as recently as 3 months
ago started taking medications for a thyroid issue.

He was always very proud of his school days as his University
days at Villanueva University in Havana, Cuba.

He was always smiling and loved to go out and eat "paella", which
we often did trying different restaurants and discussing their
different tastes.

He was a devout Catholic and knew just about every Church in NY
and NJ.

I know his soul is in the presence of the Lord.
