Wright Hugus, Jr., age 82, of Fairfield, CT the beloved husband of 34 years of Elizabeth (Thomas) Hugus of Weston, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013. He was born in Wheeling, WV to the late Wright Hugus, Sr. and Martha (Majesky) Hugus.

He graduated from Duke University and subsequently was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy where he served in the Korean War as a Naval intelligence officer and aide to Admiral Wayne Sabin. In 1959 he graduated from the University of Virginia Law School. He practiced law throughout the US and abroad with a specialty in Sports Law and Sports Management thus founding Hugus Enterprises in Greenwich. Following his retirement in 1994, he owned and operated a Good Humor Ice Cream truck and was well known in Fairfield County serving countless children and adults.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children , Stephanie Racz of Dorset, VT.; Christin O'Neill of Stratford and Wright Hugus, III of Denver, CO; and grandchildren, Bryan, Robin, Wright IV and Morgan.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday June 25, 2013 at 11 am at First Church Congregational,148 Beach Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow in the church's Memorial Garden.
