James Kenny William Whitlock died at the Chillicothie Ohio Veterans Medical center on November 18, 2011. He was born March 15, 1953 in Beckley, WV, the son of the late Grady Lee and Marjorie Belcher Whitlock. He was preceded in death by his brother Lee and his sister-in-law Debbie Whitlock. JK is survived by a daughter, Chloe Anna Meadows and his sister, Clydia and brother Greg.

JK was a graduate of Greenbrier military School and served as president of his senior class. He served in the U.S.Army in the 82nd Airborne Division.

Services will be held on November 23, 2011 at the Melton Mortuary Chapel in Beckley, WV and will be laid to rest in the family plot at the High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill, WV
