Harry Benjamin (Ben) Jones Jr., 75, of Irvington, died on October 21, 2013. He was born in Mt. Hope, W.Va., son of the late Harry Benjamin Jones Sr. and Nina Holt Jones. Surviving are his wife, Susan W. Jones; his daughter, Laura Holt Jones and her husband, Paul Dery; his son, Harry Benjamin Jones III and his wife, Carol; his four grandchildren, Nathaniel Pepper Jones-Lang, Gabriel Pepper Jones-Lang, Milo Thelonious Jones and Oscar Santiago Jones; two step children, John Mason Ramey, III and Mary Kent "Molly" Ramey and two step grandchildren, John Mason Ramey IV and Caroline Griffin Ramey.
Mr. Jones attended Greenbrier Military School, Lewisburg, W.Va., Hampden- Sydney College, Hampden Sydney, and Washington and Lee University School of Law, Lexington. He was founding partner of Walker Jones, PC, Attorneys at Law in Warrenton.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013, at Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury in Irvington.

At GMS, Ben was Company Commander of Band Company, which was designated as "Honor Company" after a year long competition. He graduated from GMS in 1957.
