Roy Edward Shuck, Jr. Obituary

Roy Edward Shuck Jr., 79, of Fairmont, Pleasant Valley Community, passed away on Tuesday (Nov. 29, 2016) at Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport.
He was born in Fairmont, on April 11, 1937, a son of the late Roy Edward Shuck Sr. and Eledene Mallory Shuck.

Mr. Shuck was a 1955 graduate of Greenbrier Military School in Lewisburg. He retired in 2014 from the Army Corps of Engineers at the Robert C. Byrd Locks and Dam in Parkersburg. His favorite pastimes were watching NASCAR and western movies, collecting Lionel model trains and spending time with his family.

He is survived by three sons, Roy Edward "Eddie" Shuck and his wife Shelli of Fairmont, Gary Shuck of Fairmont and Mark Shuck of Fairmont; his daughter, Kathi Trickett and her husband Jay of Fairmont; eight grandchildren, Adam Shuck and fiancée Tiona, Stacy Shuck and companion Roy, Britney Shuck and fiancé Austin, Mallory Shuck, Gavin Shuck, Gabrielle Roby and husband Erick, Alyson DeWitt and her husband Brandon and Elmo Jay Trickett; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Arnett Shuck in January of 2014; and his brother, Ralph Howard Shuck.
