Joseph FOSTER Obituary

FOSTER Joseph Michael "Mike", 67, died November 4, 2018 in Lexington, KY. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his family. Mike was born October 10, 1951 to the late Joseph Bernard and Doris Carmichael Foster in Tullahoma, TN. He was a football player and graduate of the University of Kentucky. He proudly served as a Naval Aviator, flew the F-4 and F-14, and retired from the U.S. Navy as a Captain in 2006.

His Christian faith was his firm foundation. Survivors include his beloved and best friend, Jane Foster; three adoring daughters and their children, Amy (Alex) Steele, Lexington, KY (Ezekial, Esther, Juniper, and Mila), Emily Foster, Palm Harbor, FL (Samir, Makaia, and Kingston), and Sarah (Kent) Gray, Dallas, TX (Katie and Caroline); two sisters, Ann (Russ) Doupnik, Baltimore, MD and Susan Austin, Bel Air, MD; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jan Higgins.
